About the School

SUCCESS REAL ESTATE INSTITUTE (SREI) or SUCCESS INSTITUTE, was the idea of Dennis Messick in 1997. Dennis wanted to be able to offer those who had no training or skills the opportunity to pursue a fulfilling career and strive for something more than minimuml wage jobs. Dennis believes that EVERYONE deserves the opportunity to have a productive and lifelong career. Initially, Dennis wished to start a training center; offering vocational training in all of the trades necessary to build a home. For Dennis, that dream remains, but is time consuming and requires a great deal of cooperation. Dennis realized that real estate was definitely an industry where one could obtain licensing and start earning a real living in less than six months and that is where he placed his focus. It took more than seven years, but his dream is being realized. True, there are other schools that can accomplish some of the same goals, but SREI is different and it is that differences that makes SREI stand above the rest. Not only do we offer the the requisite classes for new or existing agents, we participate in meaningful discussions, rather than lectures that are simply designed to fulfill time requirements. The future is bright! We will soon offer workshops to further develop and refine the skills of those already licensed with areas of interest such as Prospecting, Listing Property, Pricing Property, Buyer Satisfaction and Repeat & Referral Business to name a few. We also plan to establish a scholarship program for deserving candidates in an effort to negate the uncontrollable circumstances that prevent valuable, productive, and driven, yet "resource limited" people from pursuing a sucessful career. We travel across the state and offer the same courses as the other schools, however we teach in a more productive way. We will be offering the first mobile classroom in the industry to accomodate those in less densely populated areas. Future offerings include recruiting seminars to assist brokers in locating motivated individuals to train as productive agents; buyer and seller seminars to offer education in how to make better use of licensed real estate professionals, as well as distribution of information concerning the laws of the state and the Code of Ethics so consumers can better hold their agents accountable. We also want to incorporate instructors who are professionals in associated fields such as banking, personal finance, construction, appraisals, surveys, insurance, and title insurance.
